One-Year-Old Baby
In my dream, I saw
a one-year-old baby
crawling towards me.
“Do you need help?”
he asked.
“Yes, indeed
I replied”
So, what do you need me to do?
old man
“Ah, you know me
I am an old man
ha-ha!”
I said:
I need nothing but
one small thing
if you can,
and that is all.
“Take me back to where I belong.
Let me go back in time,
when I was just a soul.”
“I want to live in that world again
and to meet my kind,
those who are not born yet.
Then and only then
can I come here
to choose what I want to be,
and to play with you,
to laugh together at those who
don’t understand
what they are about
or why they are here”
